About

I am a 26-year-old Australian artist.
I began my design journey producing architectural drawings; mostly home and
building concepts.
I later worked as a photographer, graphic designer and web designer, which
all gave me new ways of seeing things, as well as methods for creating
perspective and depth.
From 13 to 19 I worked in retail for a few clothing brands. I gained an
inspiration for designing and creating products I wanted to wear and enjoy. I took this inspiration and started a clothing label called Minarga after leaving my retail jobs at 19. Today my art clothing line is a continuation of the foundation for my brand
that started with Minarga.
Artistically, much of what I produce, in both concept and technique, is the
result of personal inspiration and research. Sometimes my motivation and
inspiration comes to me in more of an instinctual or intuitive way. I feel the
need to create, to express, to transmute what is into something better; especially
if that equates to a painting or performance art that can be felt and experienced.
I like to switch between sketching, painting in Procreate on my iPad, and
painting with acrylics regularly.
I consider the paintings I produce in Procreate to be my primary works,
since I spend so much time planning each scene, as well as figuring out the
right technique and perspective to bring it all together.
Each artwork to me; is a mixture of characters, events, objects, and
elements in certain chapters of my life. I like to find a magical way of
expressing whatever that may be.
My store offers various pieces that have been produced since I turned 19 and
dropped out of my Architectural studies.
The way I have arranged my store visually; hints at themes and chapters that
have come and gone throughout my life. Although there are similarities in
technique and subject throughout my pieces; I don’t aim to maintain the same
style as an artist. I focus instead on tuning into my life and developing new
artworks that mirror my continually evolving journey as an artist.
Away from my artistic career. I work as an intuitive and medium, offering
people the option to find new ways to heal the past and see potential for the
future through private reading sessions.
I am a gay man who grew up in a homophobic society. I was physically
attacked, bullied and bashed numerous times. What was done to me not only took
a toll on me emotionally and spiritually, but I was also constantly in agony dealing
with the injuries and issues I continued to sustain. I was overworked and
broken at the same time. My spiritual journey has very much been led by the persistent
need to heal and change my current experience, and to seek to understand why
and how everything that happened to me came to be.
I have been working with shamanic medicines and healing techniques over the
course of my life. I have ultimately been using these practises to retrieve the aspects of me that were left disconnected and unresolved after what I had experienced. I began working and studying these techniques predominately from the age of 15, after a few losses and tragedies left me seeking help, guidance and answers.
Along my journeys I have also come across many spiritual experiences and
grounded down universal understandings that I use in private readings today. This
ability to focus out is something I have developed in many ways. I see
divination as a pure and powerful source of healing and understanding what is.
The skills and techniques I have been using on myself to heal, and grow are
combined with the intuitive guidance I receive to help offer the opportunity for others to see potentials to experience, create, heal and grow. This is the foundation for my spiritual work and practices.
